This holiday inspired theme begins with a painting from Alan Bean, Apollo-12 astronaut, moonwalker, and artist.
Apollo 15 astronaut and moonwalker James Irwin frequently commented on how his experiences in space and on the moon made the presence of God even more real to him than before. Bean captures this feeling perfectly in his painting “We Came In Peace” with Irwin knealing in prayer on the lunar surface.
