Here is a quick tutorial I thought I would put together for people who want their indicators to show up vertically on their phone. This is a very easy tutorial and after I am done you will have your unread indicators going up and down your home screen rather than left to right!
Step One
Open a theme you have done, or create a new one from scratch. Within the Theme the Banner section, click on Homescreen Banner.
Step Two
Click on the check mark next to Full Screen Banner.
Step Three
Click on Reposition Banner Items.
Step Four
You will notice a bunch of colors on the Blackberry Device off to the left.
The ‘unread indicators’ is the only yellow box. Look at the image below.
Click it and there will be a red outline around it – just like the image below.
Click it again and drag it down.
Step Five
The end is upon us!
Click the right, or left, box and drag it over like so:
*** PLEASE NOTE ***
Do not bring the box all the way over. Leave a little gap on the left and right side of the indicators. The picture’s do look like it is butting up to the indicator – well it is – don’t do that! LOL!
Step Six
Click the bottom, or top, and drag down (or up).
You may make it as long or short as you would like.
Step Seven
Click and drag the box where ever you want your meters to be.
Click on Reposition Banner Items.
There you have it. This was extremely easy to do and I hope you have learned something new with this short tutorial.
